In-person welcome session | ESG UQAM | New exchange students (English below)

Cher.e futur.e étudiant.e,

Nous sommes ravis de vous accueillir en programme d'échange à l'École des sciences de la gestion de l'UQAM (ESG UQAM)! Vous avez fait un choix judicieux en choisissant notre université urbaine et créative, qui se distingue par sa forte intégration dans son milieu tout en étant tournée vers le monde. Nous sommes impatients de vous rencontrer et de vous aider à préparer votre rentrée de l'hiver 2026.

Chez nous, vous ne serez jamais seul.e durant votre parcours universitaire. L'ensemble de la communauté universitaire se mobilise pour vous accompagner et vous aider à atteindre les objectifs que vous vous êtes fixés. Nous sommes convaincus que votre expérience à l'ESG UQAM sera riche en apprentissage et en découvertes!

Nous avons le plaisir de vous inviter à notre séance d'accueil des nouveaux étudiants en échange qui aura lieu le jeudi 8 janvier 2026 de 14h00 à 16h00. Au programme, vous pourrez assister au mot du Directeur de l'international de l'ESG, découvrir les services offerts, connaître vos responsabilités et en apprendre plus sur votre université. Par la suite, vous pourrez participer à la visite de notre campus et terminer la journée avec un accueil informel où vous aurez la chance de rencontrer vos nouveaux amis.

Nos équipes ont très hâte de vous accueillir à l'entrée du pavillon J-A De-Sève (DS) située au 320 rue Sainte-Catherine Est (accessible par la station de métro Berri-UQAM).

À votre arrivée, une personne guide sera présente pour vous accueillir et vous accompagner à la salle (DS-R520). 

La séance ne sera pas enregistrée, mais cette orientation sera offerte une deuxième fois en janvier pour les arrivées tardives.

We are pleased to invite you to our welcome session for new international exchange students which will take place on Thursday, January 8 from 2 pm to 4 pm. On the program, you'll hear from ESG's Director of International Affairs, discover the services we offer, find out about your responsibilities and learn more about your university. Afterwards, you can take part in a tour of our campus and end the day at an informal welcome gathering on campus where you'll get to meet new friends.

Our teams look forward to welcoming you at the main entrance of the J-A De-Sève Building (DS), located at 320 Sainte-Catherine Street East (accessible via the Berri-UQAM metro station).

When you arrive, a guide will be on hand to welcome you and guide you to the session (room DS-R520).

This session will not be recorded, but another in-person orientation will be offered in January, for late arrivals.
